We are so lucky to have an abundance of nature around us in Nidderdale with many places unspoilt, during the winter months we are honoured with wild deer that walk through our field and typically (when I was on the school run ran down our drive).
Sadly it seems to be a recurring event that whenever the deer, buzzards, kestrels and red kite are quite literally right in front of me either the kids have stolen my phone or I am wearing clothes with no pockets to capture the moment. By the time I time I find my phone the moment has either been missed or they are just out of range to be recognised.
The picture taken for this entry was in March 2021 at 7.00pm, I was mortified as like usual I was walking out to the driveway and happened to look right whilst one was right there popping his head through the fencing to eat. By the time I relocated my phone they had moved to the top of the field as spooked no doubt with the door shutting but I caught them on the skyline.
