Curlew and Wren have now been renovated to a more modern decor, I’d like to say it was an easy process but it was more of a learning curve and we now know what we should do with Kestrel (hopefully in a less time consuming way). Someone needs to create a much easier way of cutting in as that is like hell in a gift basket.

Marc breathed life into the old pine furniture by spray painting it – I used to love pine but it really didn’t fit with our vision of what we wanted to do with the cottages.

Due to another back problem towards the end of the renovations I was limited to operating the buy button on various items to update the rooms. The new beds and mattresses are so comfortable and I may have slightly cheated on the bedding as I’ve gone for the seersucker duvet covers to make sure the cottages are turned over in good time (an hour less ironing for me means an hour more where you can get settled).
